Fit first. MERV second.

Find the right air filter before you buy

Start with a published size guide, then use the size printed on your old filter, its model number, or a replacement SKU. We separate the nominal size (the category name on the frame) from the actual size (the filter's published physical dimensions), so similar labels do not get treated as the same fit.

Only published guides appear here; unverified and placeholder sizes stay out of the catalog.

4 documented profiles

20x25x5 air filters

Start with the three numbers printed on the frame, such as 20 × 25 × 5. We will show the different actual-size versions sold under that label.

A short, useful path

Fit, filtration, then retailer

  1. Confirm fit. Match the model or all three actual dimensions in the same order.
  2. Choose filtration. Compare MERV only among candidates that can physically fit.
  3. Check retailer options. Open the relevant option to see the retailer's current price and availability.

Evidence you can inspect

Every fit claim should have a reason

“Verified for your system” is reserved for documented manufacturer relationships. An exact actual-dimension match is shown separately, and a shared nominal label stays a starting point—not a promise. This keeps the recommendation useful without burying you in engineering language.
